Hi everyone! It’s been such a long time since I’ve written a blog it makes me sad ):

Anyways I have something worth posting for once…for the last few weeks I’ve been busy designing and cutting away for an exhibition at The Butterfly Rooms in Saltaire which opened on Saturday night.

Here are a few pics…

The exhibition runs until 1st December so theres plently of time to nip down and have a look if you fancy (:

Its all new work and I’d really appreciate any opinions so let me know what you think!!! (:

A follow on from yesterday’s post about bicycles and how pretty I think they are, here’s a look at what I’ve been doing today:

Let me know what you think!

I’m feeling inspired today and decided to have a new start! So that means new work and new ideas and goodness!

Lots more bicycles and summery icons to come (:

As some of you may know, yesterday was the opening of an exhibition including my work and that of 3 friends, at The Butterfly Rooms in Saltaire.

It will run for a month and is the first in what will hopefully be a long line of exhibitions at The Butterfly Rooms, a lovely little shop which will eventually include gallery and studio space upstairs.

So here are some pics…

It was a lovely day, lots of nice comments and some sales. So, if you fancy a day out head to Saltaire, see our work and theres always that Hockney blokes paintings down in the mill too 😛

Its a pretty busy week this week for me! Really glad to have an extra day off the day job so I can get some more work done!

Next weekend is the launch of the first exhibition at The Butterfly Rooms, a lovely new shop and gallery in Saltaire, West Yorkshire. I’ll have my work alongside that of my friends Charly, Cat and Clare, so trying to get a lot of prep done this weekend…

I was lucky enough to get a piece of work in the paper with Angela this week, when they came to do an article on her and the shop. Heres the pic:

If you fancy coming along to the open day its next Sunday, 9th May. It’d be lovely to see people, plus Saltaire’s always good for a nice designy day out! I’ll take some photos and stuff to document the event and post them asap too. The exhibition will run for a month.

Enjoy the rest of your bank holiday everyone!

Hi everyone! Well, I am really excited today as a new Art Wall room has gone live, which I have the privilege of being included in!
I applied to by sending some work to Katie a while ago, she gave me some really great advice about displaying my work online and chose a piece to be included in the Nursery. Its such a lovely wall with some beautiful pieces, and I love my frame hehe!

Anyways, take a look!

Here is the piece featured, it is an unframed butterfly lace cut from cream paper. Hope you like it.

I’ve been working on this Mushroom piece for a couple of days, done a quick mock up on plain paper but I duno if I’m keen…what do ya think? :/

I’ve been oh so busy at the moment with the day job that the bloglet is suffering ): this makes me sad.

But, here are a couple of snaps of the piece I have just finished! White and gold hand cut paper, part lace, part layered butterflies, I’m really pleased with it. More photos to come soon, hopefully going to do a post about my improving photography skills after using some wonderful Etsy blog tips.

Anyway hope you like this piece, let me know what you think.
