…except I live on top of a hill so it’s too much like hard work!
Instead, I’ve put together a pretty selection of bike related things as I am a bit obsessed at the moment…I’m working on a couple of new pieces for the shop at the mo so hopefully they’ll be on sale tomorrow.
Top Right: Beautiful hand printed bicycle scarf from Jenna Rose Handmade.
Centre: Pashley, Poppy Bike.
Middle Left: Le Fameux Tandem from Letterpress Delicacies.
Bottom: Screen printed bicycle card from 2 & 21
I was mooching around in the photo studio at work the other day and came across a mesmerising inspiration board about Bokeh! I am now on a mission to learn how and create some beautiful Bokeh!
Here are some lovely examples of the technique…
Lovely! Wikipedia does an explanation of the technical jazz.
I’ve been oh so busy at the moment with the day job that the bloglet is suffering ): this makes me sad.
But, here are a couple of snaps of the piece I have just finished! White and gold hand cut paper, part lace, part layered butterflies, I’m really pleased with it. More photos to come soon, hopefully going to do a post about my improving photography skills after using some wonderful Etsy blog tips.
Anyway hope you like this piece, let me know what you think.

So its Halloween! And thats spooky!
So here is a spooky post 🙂
Yesterday someone put a couple of photos on the blog at work of Bradford Odeon which is about the be bulldozed, the images of the decaying cinema really inspired me. After a bit more snooping I’ve found all sorts of amazing photos of abandoned buildings, turns out ‘Urban Exploration’ is a bit of a cool thing to do! I might have to go on an adventure!
Severalls Mental Hospital, Colchester.
West Park Asylum, Surrey.
Ashworth Secure Hospital, Mersyside.
These next photos are by the lovely Mr Christopher Harker, I do hope he doesn’t mind me including them. Theyre just too amazing to leave off this post though!
There are loads of forums and things where photos such as this, and tips about Urban Exploration can be found, just do a Google!
Heres the one I found most of the best pics off though.
Have a lovely Halloween everyone!
Woop! Finally got my first set of Lomo photos developed…lots of them didnt come out…lots of them were a bit boring…these were good!
I like the soft quality of the photos, but next time I’m going to get some more exciting film and hopefully do some cross processing so they are more like the photos in my inital Lomo post 🙂
